Jared began his Financial Advisor career in 2016 with Waddell & Reed. In 2017, he joined our team in Fairbury NE. After many months of commitment, he received his CFP® mark in 2021. As we transitioned to a new broker-dealer, LPL Financial, in 2021, Jared also co-founded A.V.E. Wealth Management.
Finance has always been a passion and throughout his college experience he noticed a disconnect of information between the general population and basic knowledge of finance tools. Jared strives to educate people on the principles of finance, simple behaviors and helping them make the small decisions today that can impact their future financial situation.
Jared is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agribusiness. While attending college, Jared was also a part of the Engler Agribusiness Entrepreneurship Program and the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity. His main hobbies include remodel projects to his house in Lincoln, snowboarding during the winter months, and traveling the country with his wife, Jess.
While growing up in Imperial, NE, Jared was involved in 4-H and the FFA program. He developed a horse shoeing service which he used as his Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) and continued that service throughout college. Jared was also involved in agricultural sales, along with many projects related to animals during his 4-H years.
